Resolutions
RESOLUTIONS
I know, I know, its January 13, almost two weeks into the New Year and I am just getting this done, which leads me to my first resolution
1) Procrastinate less
I have had a real problem with this lately. I have been putting things off for no real reason. Things I could easily do. But for some reason I have needed the pressure of someone waiting for it to motivate me.
2) Write more
I want to put something down on paper (or screen, as the case may be) every day. I originally intended this blog to be about what I do, work-wise, and it has to some extent. I am still searching for a voice though, which I want your help with. Let me know what you like and what you don’t. Email me or leave comments. Also share this with friends if you find it interesting.
3) Lose 3 lbs a month
I think this is a reasonable goal. I would be 165 lbs at Christmas if I manage this. Less soda, more vegetables. Come spring I hope I can start running more. (I think I do a good 20-30 minutes a day walking just in my day – and that is usually carrying 15 20lbs of equipment for work. So I think its more diet than exercise for me.
4) Date more
I know what your thinking. Dave, you crazy social butterfly do you really need to date more? In all seriousness, my social calendar has been a bit light of late. It is possible I have limited myself to much in who I am willing to date, so effective now, my three rules of dating are suspended.
So that’s it, the 4 steps I am taking to my life better in 2006.
Here’s to a Happy New Year
